Product lead times
The majority of our jewellery is made to order, which means that you should allow two to three weeks for it to be made, plus time for delivery.

Online payment terms
Online payment can be via PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, direct bank deposit or bank transfer. For any queries regarding these payment methods please contact us.
Receipt of a direct transfer is not deemed to be payment for goods until we have received the funds in our account. We will also only start fulfilling orders once the agreed payment terms have been met.
Please also take care when entering our account details for direct transfers. Recovering funds transferred in to a wrong account is difficult, time-consuming and expensive. Payment into a wrong account is the customer’s responsibility.
All Joseph George designs and items of jewellery (including design development work) are subject to copyright, as well as all text, images, graphics and logos. If copyright is breached, Joseph George Jewellery will seek further action. The contents of our website are solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This site or any portion of it may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, or otherwise used for any commercial purpose that is not expressly permitted by Joseph George Jewellery.
Warranty and Guarantee
All Joseph George products are made with highest quality materials and care. If there is any manufacturing fault or transit damage, when delivery has been arranged by us, we will replace the product.
All our custom-made jewellery comes with a lifetime guarantee against faults in materials or workmanship. The guarantee does not cover defects from general wear and tear, scratching, damage caused by accidents, neglect or misuse, or any resulting loss of the item or precious stones from it. If someone else has repaired or modified the item, the guarantee is void. Any items not custom-made by us are not covered by the lifetime guarantee.
In the rare event of a problem, please contact us and bring back your piece as soon as possible – we will repair anything covered by the guarantee free of charge, while for anything not covered we’ll give you a quote for repair.
Cancellations and Returns
Please note that if you cancel any custom order once it is put in to production, we will retain 50% of the cost of the order.
Custom-made jewellery can’t be returned or exchanged once we have received your full payment. We can however make minor changes to the design during the design process if informed in good time – for details, see our FAQs
We offer one free re-size for any ring you purchase, subject to the terms and conditions below.
You must contact us to ask for re-sizing within four weeks of receiving the ring, or there will be a charge. You can use our sizing guide or ideally visit our store or your local jewellery store for an accurate finger sizing. Please also remember that weather conditions can affect the finger size.
The following rings are not covered by our free re-sizing policy and will incur a charge if could be re-sized:
- Rings ordered over the phone or online, where the customer has not had their finger size measured in person.
- Eternity/wedding rings with gemstones set the whole way around the ring.
- Rings with diamonds evenly spaced around the ring.
- Ring with patterns or other design aspects that may need to be redone after re-size.
Most re-sizes can be done within a week, although it may take longer for complicated designs. Let us know if your re-size is particularly urgent and we will try to meet your deadline.
